What supplies do I need to start oil painting?

Please list quality brand names for the art supplies, too, and a good oil painting video and book. I don’t really have a budget in mind, so just pick the best quality.

I just went to the art store today to start some oil painting experiments. You’ll need;

Natural hair brushes, nothing taklon or synthetic, things like hoghair and sable are fine.
Turps to clean the brushes. These will eat synthetic brushes, which is why you need naturals.
Linseed oil to thin the paint. You can use turps for this but it takes away the colour and vibrancy.
Oil paints (duh)

I’d also suggest some paper or canvas boards so you can get a feel of it before you do something serious
