URGENT What is the best way to comfort a girlfriend when her dog dies? Stuffed animal?
My friend’s dog just dies, and she was in tears on the phone…. She said she wanted to talk but wanted to be alone…whatever that means…she had to hang up since she was driving. Is a stuffed animal dog bad or good to get her? It might make her more sad since it reminds her of it?
Be a good listener. Remind her of all the amazing times she had with her dog. Give her space when she needs it and be there for her when you can. A stuffed dog might be a bad idea, but maybe a stuffed bear would be better. Hang out with her and watch some funny movies if it will help, but none with a dog. Good luck, and I’m very sorry for your friend’s loss.
