Board Painting

do i need to frame a painting on canvas board? if not, how do i do it?

I have a 9″ x 12″ painting that I bought VERY cheaply on eBay. I don’t want to spend much to frame it. It’s on canvasboard & the edges are painted so I’m not even sure if it needs painting.

It doesn’t have any type of wire or anything else to hang it with. So what’s the easiest and/or best way to hang it?

Buy one of the cheap photo frames that you can get for less than $10 at Walgreens or any store. and frme it in that , the canvas board is thin enough to fit in one of the frames.
No mess secure and looks professionally done under $10.
