Bulgarian Oil
Hi! Can anybody help me to find a job in the oil industry or any work in the maritime sector?
I have worked two years in norway like a carpenter,but the project will finish after 2 months and I wood like to have better work like a sailor,deck man or driller at the oil platform. I can speak english and have some basic knowledge in norwegian.I also have documents for safety training and survive at the sea.I am former marine officer from bulgarian army.Please help me to find the job that I am looking for!
Go to Seaman’s International Union (SIU) online, since they control most U.S. flagged ships and for Oil Rigs go online to Petrolium Carreers in Texas. Remember, for many maritime jobs you must be a US citizen since only US citizens can sit for testing. However, you can obtain a 6pax captains license without being a U.S. citizen and apply to work as a captain onboard a 6pax charter boat.
