Canvas Flowers
Cheap ways to create textures painting?
I am painting a huge canvas of a flower and I really want the center of the flower to be thick and rough. I know there are many different kinds of molding gel and paint, but honestly I am too broke for that. Have any tips on using household items or items under $5? I use Acrylic and oil paint by the way.

Easy one this, and it’s cheap, and it works. Go to you local hardware or diy shop and get some decorators filler in powdered form, carefully and sparingly add the filler powder to your paint until you get the desired consistency. Don’t add water for either painting medium.
