When does the sun set in Carmel California in September?
Trying to plan a wedding for this September 23rd. We want to try and get married when the sun is setting, at Carmel Beach. But, by that time it might be too late to have a reception afterwards. Any Ideas?
The sun will set at 7:03 and twilight will end at 7:29. If you want a sunset wedding, plan it for 6:30, then by the time the festivities get started, the sun will be setting. You may want to take most of your pictures ahead of time because the lighting is kinda funny that late. As for the reception, if it is inside, it doesn’t really matter…if it’s outside, just set up some lights and a lot of candles. And if it’s a big party, it will probably run late anyway.
Just don’t foget to sit your guests with their backs to the sunset (it’s almost contradictory), because it will blind them if they’re looking directly into it.
