Century Oil
’99 Buick Century v6… are there oil passages in the intake manifold?
I need to install a new intake gasket in a 1999 Buick Century, but it also needs an oil change. I know that the coolant should to be drained before taking off the intake manifold, but is this also true with the oil? Would I be wise to hold off on the oil change until after the intake project is done? Or is it ok to do the oil change now, and the intake gasket later?
there are not any where the gasket is at. the oil is pumped up under the intake to lube the cam and bearings. what you have under the gasket is ports and water jackets.
