Can anyone tell me how I can get an appraisal of a Oriental Watercolor (on silk, & signed).?
Item has been in my family since 1945. Signature is Chinese(?). Subject is a very old Chinese man, wearing pre-communist type clothing.
Take it to your local art gallery first and see what they say. They might know someone in town who can appraise it for you. Be sure to get more than one appraisal.
