Cheap, do-it-yourself arts and crafts, decor?
I’m looking for some cheap arts and crafts ideas to decorate around my apartment. I’m trying to decorate as much as possible without spending much money. I can’t do anything perm. because it’s an apartment, so no painting and such. I don’t want to do anything that looks childish or tacky, either.

You could put these in a vase and they look really beautiful. Or you could do something creative with them – form a frame, something for the table, hang them in the window, etc.
They would be very expensive to buy (a bouquet can be $500 – $735). I’m making these now. I found some pretty plastic beads that look like crystals on sale for 50 cents (bag of 40). I’m also using some beads I bought at the dollar store – and they still look gorgeous when they’re done. Not cheap, childish, or tacky at all. The wire is just a little over $1 to buy (I’m using 26 gauge wire).
They’re pretty quick and easy to make!
