What recourse do I have in this situation?

A woman came to my garage sale and bought some figural bottles – as an example – lighthouses. She gave me her email address and said at the time, if I ever came across ANYTHING with a lighthouse theme, let her know and she would buy it from me. After this I saw an oil painting in a curio shop and bought it, thinking she would like it. I took a photo of it and emailed it to her. She replied that it wasn’t something in which she would be interested. That’s what I get for trying to be helpful. I don’t know if the price is too much for her budget or she just didn’t like it – but she said ANYTHING when she asked me to look out for her. Now I’m out $20. What can I do?

Only thing left to do would be to put it into another garage sale and sell it there. She said to ‘look’ for her, not purchase for her. Perhaps she just didn’t like it.
