Gouache Painting
how to make a skin colour with gouache paints?
the colours i have are :
yellow ochre
leaf green
crimson
lemon yellow
ultra marine
burnt sienna
blue lake
brilliant red
medium yellow
emerald
and black
this picture is in for tomorrow . please help!
yellow ochre is key, so a mix of that and a tad of crimson would be good, with a bit of greens, blues and purples to give it depth (colour theory) and just play around with those colours until you find something that is just right.
Add some burnt sienna if the skin is a bit tan, but only after the mix i suggested above…
What on earth are you doing without any white paint!!! Get some immediately! That stuff is worth its weight in gold to a painter.
p.s. NEVER EVER use black paint… That stuff kills a good painting, even when mixed. its just soo flat.
