Thousands art historians, professors, artists, curators, conservators, scientists too stupid know original?
Did you know that if you find a work of art by Martin Johnson Heade that is signed in the artist hand that there is only one person on the planet that can LOOK at the painting and tell you if it is authentic. All other art historians, educators, artist, conservators, educated people, teachers, God and anybody else that can think cannot help!
This is the most ridiculous system of authentication I have ever heard of and it states that there is something seriously wrong in this country.
If you are a professor of art history you know nothing!
Many professors of art history don’t want to be involved as one artist asked me “in America”? Yes!
How can you call yourself art professionals when you don’t have sense enough to know a fake Martin Johnson Heade painting?
Well, I went to the doctor the other day and he told me that TEST showed I have whatever illness.
I want bother going to another doctor for a second opinion as this one is the only one that knows. Right!
Is there a question in there or just a rant?

There is probably someone in your town who could authenticate a work for you. Try an art guild or museum for a reference to a local expert.
