An adult client with mental retardation listens to Billy Joel’s song “You’re Only Human” and is asked by the?

music therapist to tell her what he understands a mistake to be and how learning from our mistakes can help us to make better life decisions. The client responds that a mistake is “something you eat for dinner and cut with a knife and fork.” The fact that the client is unable to discuss abstract situations beyond the superficial level suggests this client:
a.Will respond to uses of music as a carrier of information
b.Will not be rewarded for his efforts
c.Will not be actively involved in sessions and needs to be play an instrument
d.Will need music therapy for an extended period o time
e.Will not benefit from insight-oriented therapy at this time

I personally think the answer are far to complex, for this person to answer.
It would be difficult enough of a question to answer if you where not some one who is suffering from being mentally retarded.
dealing with questions at a abstract level is usually not at this persons level of understanding. He or she has had little or no interaction in this field.
The person who is asking the question has no idea what they are asking.
they in my book a person who has no idea about very much.
what some of us would call an educated person who has no idea what they are talking about.
an amateur with no background knowledge of the subject or person.
its the sort of question i believe a college professor with no knowledge of mental retarded people would ask of the students to find out if they can actually THINK for themselves.
