How did Egyptians paint&carve intricate, often miniature wall designs deep inside pitch-dark tombs?
There is no evidence of large amounts of soot residue on the ceilings (as there would be for the length of time needed to produce their detailed artwork) to indicate they used torches or fire…….
they used oil lamps that had some kind of salt that kept down the soot and there is some evidence that they used a mirror system polished bronze
