Breckness House on the rugged Orkney shoreline north of Stromness was built in 1633 by George Graham, the last bishop of Orkney. Above the threshold are his initials and the Episcopal Arms. George Graham who passed away in 1643 was Bishop of Dunblane and Bishop of Orkney with the Church of Scotland from 26 August 1615.
