Old Signed
Old painting signed Newport, anyone heard of him or her?
I have been holding on to this old painting for some time now. I bought it for the frame from a thrift shop some years ago. It is definitly very old. It is just signed NEWPORT in all caps and is a painting of a cottage on a hill. Has anyone ever heard of this artist? I have searched google for hours and found nothing. I live in Massachusetts so it may be a New England artist.
