Strategies On Health Care Reorganization
Can you picture a charge free medical and health care world? Instead of practicing in scattered private offices, doctors work in neighborhood health centers, medical supermarkets, where patients get all their problems treated at one stop. As with nurses’ salaries, it would be good if doctors too depended on the government for their salaries. And since they represent only a small part of the community, they have only a minority voice in running hospitals. Only the consumers and health workers who have the major say when it comes to policies and related matters. When you would like to get more information on medical employment check out this site.
Such is the idea of the greatest medical world that can be made possible, states the group of activists known as the health policy advisory group, who aspires for some serious medical system reforms. Propaganda ministry and think tank are two of the most notable titles given to them by the health movement. Fitting metaphors or not, what matters is that their dissident voices are gradually dominating the medical landscape.
It seems unreal to discuss the possibility of a consumer governed hospital or free medical services. A complete and major restructuring in this country’s health care system will be able to achieve that more than just putting in more funds. The radical movement is comprised of three city planners, and one anthropologist, social worker, labor relations master and a molecular biologist who all hold office in a cramped fourth floor loft in downtown Manhattan. They all make the same weekly income and have same authority when it comes to certain decisions.
Their aim is to stimulate health workers and have them and other consumer groups to organize around medical issues. Health financing and patients’ rights are some of the issues discussed in the seminars and workshops of this nonprofit and independent organization. But then it is a 12 to 16 page magazine with hard hitting content that reveals the truth behind wrong ways done by many institutions that is still their top outlet. You can get the best doctor job information by visiting this website.
More health activist organizations are on the rise but their perception is that this issue is due to the nonsystem affecting the delivery of health care. Due to the system’s inclination on profit, expansion and research and not health care, many problems arise. For the health policy advisory group, the medical care system of America has three parts.
The hospitals, medical centers and medical learning institutions are there. It is a shame that while they are supposed to work for people, they are only patterned to make the providers or the physicians happy. Health care responsibilities only come second to prioritizing teaching and research. We believe it should be reversed.
Next on the list of the health care system is the rigorous task of financial planning. An important role is played by most health insurance firms since they shoulder half of all the hospital income. While many think that insurance groups piggyback on hospitals and make their costs higher, the truth is actually that they conspire for each others’ benefit. For instance, a lot of the regional directors also double as hospital administrators. And so the group says, it is no surprise that hospital costs have skyrocketed because this hospital dominated company has failed to back meaningful cost and quality controls.
The industrial complex for health care comes in third in the medical system’s list. The complex here is actually the conspiracy of doctors, clinics, hospitals, medical schools and all who profit from people’s diseases, insurance and drug companies, hospital suppliers, laboratories and nursing care homes. It is so easy to see the connection between profit oriented groups and the providers who are both just after profit. Drug company executives sit on hospital boards. Trust that many hospitals and hospital supply companies are owned partly by many doctors. Moonlighting as consultants in hospital supply groups is what many hospital and medical school professions are getting into now.
If the health care system truly is interconnected and properly organized, then why can’t it cater to all health needs as it should? To answer this, the center explains that the people involved in the current system only aim to fatten their pockets by focusing more on revenue, real estate development, financial holdings and education and research when the priority should be on health care above all. Medical attention is a means to these goals. But is such the finality in itself? Not quite.
