How big is this painting(easy 10 points)?
I want to know how big is the painting called Christ Rejected by Benjamin West
width and length
The painting is owned, I believe, by the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. I couldn’t find the size of the painting there but in one of Jane Austen’s letters she described the painting as being 17 feet high and 22 feet across.
Two other archive articles I have read describe it as being 18 feet high and 22 feet across. One of these articles comes from the Glasgow School of Art and the other from the Scotsman newpaper’s archives.
