Let us start by figuring out what type of flowers you want for your wedding. Remember it is your day so anything goes. If you want an assortment of just roses or carnations in every color imaginable so be it. If you want a hundred different varieties of flowers all a different color we can do that too!
When it comes to making paper wedding flowers the sky is the limit. If you have trouble deciding which flowers and colors you want for your wedding why not have all that you want. There is no rule that says you can only have two types of flowers and that all the bridesmaids have to have the same color and flower. Maybe as a nice gift to your maid of honor and brides maids you can let them choose the type of flower(s) and colors they want in their bouquet.
I have attended what I like to call a “rainbow wedding” on more than one occasion. Each bridesmaid had a different flower and color in the bouquet. It was very unique looking and beautiful. What about the dress matching you ask? With rainbow weddings you can allow your brides maids and maid of honor to choose the dominate color in the bouquet let us say it will be pink that bridesmaid can wear a pink dress and another bridesmaid may prefer the color purple, perfect purple dress then use purple flowers as the dominate color.
If you happen to have two bridesmaids that both insist on having the same color then you either have to let them work it out. This is your wedding and if they respect you they will leave you out of their wedding color dispute. Another way to do this is to allow the maid of honor to choose her color first then go in order for the bridesmaids according to where they will stand in line next to you during the ceremony. The majority of dresses all come in the same style and different colors so you should not have a problem.
On to the reception flowers, again you can have any flower or color you like. I have found that an assortment of different flowers and colors only adds to the beauty of the flowers and the wedding! Now that you have a few paper flower wedding ideas shouldn’t you start planning your wedding!
