Repro Oil

What are the steps for using linseed oil on my m1 garand?
I have a new repro stock from the cmp and it looks pretty dry. I would like to put a nice finish on it, but I’ve never done this before. So what do i do? Thanks!
Ahh, guys, I have A LOT of experience refinishing old military gun stocks. My strong suggestion is for you to use COLD-PRESSED Linseed Oil the same way that the old government armories used to do.
Yes, it’s hard to find; and that’s why so many refinishers end up using boiled Linseed Oil. You can find the original cold-pressed oil on either the internet or at most artist supply stores.
