Would going to a state university ruin my chances of getting into a good medical school?
I was thinking about going to Georgia State University but I’m afraid that it was ruin my chances of getting into a good medical school like John Hopkins or the University of Chicago. What do you think?
Actually, it’s well known that the more prestigious schools inflate grades, so an A at Harvard might actually not be as good as one at GSU.
It really doesn’t make a difference. You get out of an education what you put into it. Your MCAT score will say a lot more about your education than what school you went to.
Whatever school you choose, get excellent grades, and prepare yourself to shine on the MCAT.
