Life is too short not to take a well deserved vacation. And, if you are one of the lucky ones, you could fly off to a wonderful exotic location and bake yourself silly in the sun. It is a dream of millions and quite rightly so. We work hard for your money.
You worked so hard the whole year and now is the time to pack your suitcase so you can fly off into the sunset. It is always a fantastic feeling when you land at a new airport and everything is strange and different to your culture.
The language sounds exotic and everyone is so relaxed. You rush through customs and can’t wait to actually walk outside the airport building so that the a new sun and a new breeze can meet you with open arms. You even remembered to get your brazilian wax done just before you left as you need to work on a serious tan for your white washed body.
The time is near for the festivities to start and you can hardly contain yourself. The music is intoxicating and the dancers are mesmerizing, yes we are talking about Rio de Janeiro and it’s famous carnival. Here the perfect bodies will dazzle you as they are shown off with outlandish costumes and ear to ear smiles. It is a time for endless fun on the beach and to try out her culinary delights in her many restaurants.
Day two and you just can’t get yourself out of bed. You feel tired and a bit weak in the knees. You know it is because of jet lag and you decide to stay in. You saw in a brochure that the hotel as a wellness spa and that they believe in holistic therapy in dealing with aches and pains. You get a good body massage to sooth away those cramps in your legs, while listening to wonderful uplifting music.
Rio – as it is called, has so many wonderful sights to see that you need to take an organized day trip to orientate yourself first. The city is busy and pulsating with traffic and pedestrians. The sun is hot and many people walk around with shorts and a t-shirt. The beaches are where it’s at and there you will find well built bodies of all ages, sizes and shapes.
But alas, the sun was shut out today because of a cold arctic wind blowing into town. It is raining and you have not really brought along suitable warm cloths. Luckily you found two home space heaters in your closet and can enjoy a warm cozy room as you read a good book while falling into a deep relaxing sleep.
