Cherry Furniture deco?

I have Cherry Furtinure room set .. i wanted to know what colors can i put in my room that would look nice.. anything but a wine color.. im not really a red fan.. what color should i paint the walls and by my bed set?? Thanx!

Soft Grey! you would think the room would look dreary, but my friends have their living room in a soft grey with cherry furniture, and I am soo jealous. they trimmed the room in white, and I generally don’t go for white trim but it is perfect.

you don’t have to commit to a color on your walls, you don’t have bright white or a dull tan. in the bedroom, it would be very romantic without being gender oriented.

the full spectrum lightbulbs are amazing in any room, with a soft white lampshade

any organic branches with tiny buds or blossoms would be nice, (i tried to suggest a type of willow branch but was screened as obscene, it’s not, it’s just the name of the branch.) for a more distinguished look, go for striped bedding.

you can accent with whatever and as many colors as you would like, jewel tones, or pastels, or primary colors.

accent with glass or ceramic vases, lamp bases, screen printed paintings, pillows, bedding
brushed silver looks better than gold with cherry wood.

check out pier 1 for vases, www.urbanoutfitterscom if you want bedding with an organic design. I’m sure bed bath and beyond may have some nice stuff too.
